We have several versatile spaces that may be opened up into larger spaces to suit your event:

Mararoa/Whitestone
This combined area is a delightful space for socializing. We use it often for welcome Cocktail Parties for up to 150 guests, or for small weddings and banquets.
Oreti and Aparima Rooms
Side by side identically sized spaces, which form half of our large Conference Area. Together they comfortably hold up to 200 guests in theatre style. The drapes on the east wall of the Aparima Room may be pulled back to reveal natural light if this is a requirement. Otherwise both rooms can be fully blacked out for optimal audiovisual effect.
Conference Area
When the Oreti, Aparima and Waiau Rooms have their central motorized sound-proof walls opened up, we have the large Conference Area available to seat up to 700 theatre style or 400-500 for dinner. Anyone who has attended a national conference at the Ascot Park Hotel will have experienced this excellent facility and probably in several different ways during the course of their event. A typical scenario is to use the Waiau section for the plenary room and the Oreti and Aparima areas combined for trade exhibits and catering. If numbers are large then the Foyer area is also used for trades and catering. While delegates are out for an afternoon the entire conference area may be transformed (for instance) into a Southern Ocean Wonderland or any theme you may desire. Your choices are only limited by your imagination!
